Amgen Announces Webcast of 2005 Fourth Quarter and Full Year Financial Results

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif., Jan 09, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Amgen (Nasdaq:AMGN), the world´s largest biotechnology company, today announced plans to report 2005 fourth quarter and full year financial results on Thursday, January 26, 2006, before the opening of the financial markets. The announcement will be followed by a live conference with the investment community at 8 a.m. Eastern Standard Time.

Participating in the event from Amgen will be Kevin Sharer, chairman and chief executive officer, and other members of Amgen´s senior management team.

The conference will be simultaneously broadcast over the Internet and will be available to members of the news media, investors and the general public. The event, including the question and answer session, is expected to last approximately two hours.

The webcast of the conference can be found on www.amgen.com by clicking on Investors. A link to the webcast is under the Events header. The webcast will be archived and available for replay 72 hours after the event.
